Database Management

Database Management Systems (DBMS) have become an integral part of most systems today- document management systems, records management systems, full-text search engines, operating systems, and applications. For many of these systems, fielded information is stored in the DBMS and files are stored on the file server or web server. This introduces additional complexities such as user and group synchronization, recovery differences, etc. MSI employees have worked extensively with server, mainframe, and PC DBMSs including: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MS Access.
